Red River Gorge has had a very large impact on the way I think about life. Growing up, I never really was one to put myself in nature, but about a year or so ago I went on a trip to the gorge with two close friends. I had never felt more in tune with myself and my surroundings than when I was there. If I’m having a creative block, I think about how peaceful it is to just sit under Gray’s Arch and just take in that area.

Having a Mac and Logic Pro has definitely affected my musical process as well. Sometimes it feels a little like cheating, but it usually feels really nice to have so many tools at my finger tips. I made a good 85% of this record just in my bedroom. I know that it’s a thing that’s been around for a while, but the fact that it’s possible is still just mind blowing to me.
